Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on enabling Google's data center teams to operate at scale.
- Run the gamut of responsibility from headcount and hiring planning, to ushering complex projects through the entire lifecycle.
- Oversee projects as they often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, requiring you to keep all players coordinated on progress and deadlines to ultimately enable Google's data center operations teams.
- Manage project schedules, proactively identify risks to on-time delivery, and clearly communicate goals and status to key stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program or project management, leading multi-disciplinary projects.
- Experience creating visual presentations.
- Experience in project management and communications.
- Experience in customer service and working with technical management teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a technical field, or 5 years of experience in supply chain or large-scale operations.
- Experience in program management, driving projects end-to-end.
- Comfort with ambiguity, with a demonstrated ability to structure vague problems into actionable plans and clear goals.
- Proactive risk management and strong problem-solving skills.
- Exercises independent judgment, takes full ownership of program outcomes, and proactively drives process improvements to enhance velocity and efficiency.
