Job Overview:
As a Project Manager at Primoris Services Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closing of various construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:**
* Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through close-out, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget control.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, timelines, and risk assessments.
* Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial targets and reporting requirements.
* Oversee project quality control and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
* Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
* Negotiate contracts, change orders, and dispute resolutions with clients and subcontractors.
* Mentor and supervise project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
* Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP certification preferred).
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and quality control standards.
* Ability to travel to project sites as required.
