The Project Manager position plays a critical role in supporting the organizations Operation Support System of Netcracker. That support includes driving standardization, developing best practices, supporting end users, training and driving overall quality of the network inventory records.
This position serves as a key pillar of network data quality, process standardization and data governance which directly plays an important role in the health of the business. This is part of the Network Systems and Automation team which strives to build quality processes that the business can function seamlessly for the Network Operations Center and Change Management team to reduce customer interferences and assist with Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Our Project Manager position requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects within telecom including various circuit types, equipment and structure of the network. This understanding meshes and drives excellence for the business and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, maintain, and promote Netcracker best practices, standard operating procedures, and process standards
Serve as a primary support resource for Netcracker users, providing day-to-day guidance and issue resolution
Create and deliver training materials, user guides, and training sessions for new and existing users
Assist with the creation, maintenance, and management of Power BI Network Data Quality and Integrity reports that automate the identification of inventory discrepancies within Netcracker, enabling users to review, validate, and correct records to improve overall data quality, consistency, and governance
Act as a steward of data governance and process adherence within the Netcracker platform
Drive improvements in network inventory record quality, consistency, completeness, and accuracy
Providing ongoing support for users transitioning from legacy systems and existing Netcracker user communities
Utilize telecommunications network knowledge to accurately interpret and maintain inventory records, circuit relationships, and network infrastructure components.
Collaborate with the Network Systems and Automation team to build scalable, efficient, and sustainable inventory management processes
Required Qualifications:
Telecommunications Knowledge: Understanding of telecommunications network inventory and a broad range of circuit technologies, including but not limited to wavelength, transport, backbone, Ethernet, MPLS, optical, dark fiber, VLANs, IP Addresses, and Subinterfaces.
Ability to understand circuit relationships and inventory structures to support the development of best practices, user training, process standardization, and ongoing support of the Netcracker user community.
Experience supporting OSS, inventory management or telecommunication systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience developing and delivering end-user training
Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Netcracker, Network Manager Telecom (NMT), CRM, and other telecommunications operational support systems
Strong technical understanding of telecommunications network infrastructure, inventory management, and network record principles
Experience supporting system migrations, integrations, and inventory transformation initiatives
Experience with process documentation, data governance, inventory quality management, and operational support functions
Estimated base salary range: $77,100 - $118,600 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
