Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join the Beca Project and Programme team based in either Christchurch or Dunedin in a project management role that will see you leading projects and providing strategic advice to clients. You will lead and deliver projects from initiation and design through procurement, consenting, and into construction and handover.
Together with our clients, we are tackling some of the most complex and impactful projects across the country, including critical infrastructure, Schools, Hospitals, Airports, and community projects. Our projects range from small-scale through to some of the region’s most ambitious building, industrial and infrastructure schemes.
In this role, you will be applying your relationship-building abilities, along with your excellent communication skills, connecting across all parts of Beca and with our broad range of clients.

Ko wai koe | About you
This role is best suited to candidates who have developed their project management capability within an engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or construction environment. We are looking for professionals who can confidently engage with technical design teams, understand engineering and project delivery challenges, and provide informed advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle. While strong project management expertise is essential, a background working on engineering projects will be critical to success in this role.
