Safety Worxs is seeking a detail-oriented Project Planner to support a long-term coatings project at the Savannah River in Jackson, SC. This position is responsible for developing comprehensive work orders and work packages that support the quality application of site-specific coatings systems in accordance with project specifications and an NQA-1 Quality Program.

Working closely with Quality, Scheduling, and Document Control teams, the Site Planner will ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for field execution. The role may also support planning activities related to structural and cosmetic concrete repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, assemble, and maintain work orders and work packages for coatings activities.
  • Prepare work packages in accordance with project specifications and NQA-1 quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Scheduling, and Document Control personnel to support project execution.
  • Compile supporting documentation including inspection forms, work procedures, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Product Data Sheets (PDS).
  • Review project specifications and ensure documentation accurately reflects project requirements.
  • Assist with planning activities for cosmetic and structural concrete repair work when required.
  • Maintain organized project records and documentation throughout the planning process.
  • Support continuous communication between planning, quality, and field operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience developing work orders, work packages, or planning documentation for industrial coatings or protective coatings projects is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience working under formal quality management systems (NQA-1 or similar) preferred.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated construction environment.
