You already have some relevant professional experience, preferably applying the above competencies in an IT consulting context. You are willing to learn about and work in an expertise-driven data analytics/engineering environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As Project Manager & Team Lead, you combine two complementary roles. Around 75% of your time is dedicated to project management, ensuring successful delivery and strong customer relationships. The remaining 25% is focused on your role as Team Lead, coaching and developing the people in your team.
You manage scope, time, risk and budget of the project(s) at hand;
You ensure timely and high-quality project delivery, applying Agile/Scrum practices pragmatically to the needs of the project and customer.
You understand your customers’ evolving needs, identify opportunities for additional value and contribute to upselling relevant Tropos services and expertise;
You are the first point of contact for both the customer and the Tropos team on the project(s) assigned to you and you act as a liaison between them;
You translate business questions into manageable tasks for your team of data engineers;
You do regular one-on-ones and performance reviews with the colleagues on your project team(s);
You motivate and grow your team members by having an eye for individual talents and competencies and by offering hands-on learning opportunities to everyone;
Relevant professional experience in project management, people management, preferably in a consulting context;
A commercial mindset and the ability to recognize opportunities to create additional value for customers and Tropos;
Affinity with Agile/Scrum practices;
Accountable, organized, problem-solving, quality- and delivery-focused;
Fluent in both Dutch and English, other languages are a bonus.
Naturally empathetic, which helps you understand the needs of our customers and your team members and respond to them effectively;
A team player with a coaching attitude and a growth mindset towards oneself and others;
