We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Property Tech who plays a key role in ensuring the governance, compliance, and effective management of government accountable property. This position is responsible for the oversight and execution of processes related to equipment accountability, administration, compliance assurance, and risk mitigation. The Property Tech will manage and maintain detailed records in accordance with government requirements, support inventory audits, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of property accountability systems.
Travel may be required based on project needs.
��Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the lifecycle management of Government accountable property, including acquisition, tagging, barcoding, and disposition.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update Government accountability databases in compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct annual accountability inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
Support Government audits by preparing required documentation and facilitating audit processes.
Develop and implement governance procedures and internal controls to ensure ongoing compliance and accountability.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support property-related aspects of project proposals and ongoing contracts.
Identify and mitigate risks related to equipment accountability and recommend process improvements.
Support organizational development initiatives by refining asset management practices and contributing to policy updates.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph prior to hire
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience breaking down materials and using power tools
Practical knowledge of supplier contract governance, negotiation, and administration.
Familiarity with DFARS and regulatory compliance related to government or defense contracting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with cross-functional teams including project managers and technical staff.
Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects or assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to travel when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., defense, aerospace, or federal contracting)
Demonstrated success in supplier relationship management and supplier performance evaluation.
Proficiency in procurement or contract management software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Deltek Costpoint).
Working knowledge of change management practices within supply chain or procurement transformation initiatives.
Strong data analysis skills for evaluating supplier metrics, costs, and contract performance.
