Our Client offers investments in listed and unlisted property across 460+ high quality office, industrial and healthcare buildings around Australia and New Zealand. Job Overview: Employment type: Full-time Shift: AU working hours Work setup: The position on a hybrid set-up 3 times work onsite and 2 times work from home, Monday to Friday on a morning shift. This is a hands-on role at the core of our month-end cycle, reporting, and controls ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced property or real estate environment and is ready to take ownership of meaningful financial processes. Function: Corporate -Corporate - Finance Supervision: The role will report directly to the Property Accounting Finance Manager What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA qualified (preferred) Minimum 3 years of accounting experience Property or real estate industry experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly What You'll Be Working On: The tasks and responsibilities for the role include: Execute month-end close, including accruals and prepayments Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly financial reports Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliation Support audit processes and maintain internal controls Contribute to ad-hoc projects and analysis as required Identify and drive continuous process improvements This Role is Ideal For: Advanced Microsoft Excel; intermediate Word and PowerPoint Experience with MRI software is advantageous Strong attention to detail and communication skills Positive, can-do attitude and genuine team player Excellent time management and ability to adapt to change and new systems The successful candidate is expected to · Adhere to, support and promote the Compliance Policies and Procedures, which govern personal and professional behavior · Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with relevant procedures · Ensure confidential information is protected, given the privileged access associated with this role
