Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Streamlining the Ordering Process: Taking ownership of the ordering process.
  • Optimizing Price Agreements: Actively managing and updating price agreements within our system to ensuring data quality.
  • Master Data Governance Support: Administering and maintaining purchasing-related master data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Facilitating Market Inquiries: Providing essential support for standard market inquiries, helping to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and solutions.
  • Maintaining IT System Accuracy: Ensuring all relevant purchasing data and transactions are accurately updated and maintained across our various IT platforms.
  • Managing Loan Contracts: Overseeing the management and tracking of loan contracts for inventories, guaranteeing compliance and efficiency.
  • Supporting Internal Controls: Assisting with internal control procedures to uphold Bosch’s high standards of compliance and risk management.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities and actively contributing to the implementation of process enhancements within our purchasing operations to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven professional experience in an operational purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role, ideally within a large, international organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and actively support the implementation of process improvements.
  • Know-how:
    • Proficiency in various IT systems critical to purchasing, including strong practical experience with SAP.
    • Excellent data processing and analytical skills using MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Languages: Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are essential.
  • Working Style and Methods:
    • A highly organized and meticulous working style with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong drive for process optimization.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Personality:
    • Collaborative and adaptable, with strong communication skills, able to build positive relationships.
    • High level of motivation, resilience, and flexibility to navigate challenges.
    • A team player who is eager to learn and contribute to a supportive and innovative environment.
