Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Intern to join our engineering team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to ensure the quality of our applications and APIs. You’ll be a key contributor in identifying bugs, writing test cases, and automating API tests.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with QA and backend teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing of features, workflows, and APIs across web and mobile applications.
- Write clear and concise test cases and test plans
- Report bugs with detailed documentation and steps to reproduce
- Support in setting up and running automated API test scripts (Postman/Selenium/RestAssured)
- Learn and apply QA best practices in an agile startup environment
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance
- Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman is a plus
- Exposure to any automation tools (like Selenium) is an added advantage
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
