The Role?
To provide Quality leadership in implementing Group quality objectives. Ensuring effective implementation of the organization’s quality standards and procedures. Monitor and guide quality trends and drive implementation of suitable quality initiatives to mitigate risk.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Provide Quality Leadership
- Support and lead the implementation of all EnerMech Quality Management System procedures and guide your area of responsibility
- Develop and implement the EnerMech Quality Audit programme on an annual basis and ensure corrective actions are followed through
- Be accountable to the QHSE Manager for the delivery of Quality objectives
- Support the organization on Quality matters as the primary point of contact
- Review and assess requests for pre-qualification or tender, and compile required documentation in preparation for project deliverables – focus on Quality
- Support the project management teams, engineering departments, and business development personnel as appropriate regarding quality matters
- Ensure the business works in accordance with accredited standards such as ISO 9001 & ASME
- Prepares and maintains required quality records and reports
- Supports line managers during Quality inspections, and manages internal, sub-contractor and third party audits
- Improves the behavioral aspects of Quality in the workforce
- Liaises with external bodies on Quality matters
- Advise business lines to ensure clients’ needs are met
- Development of learning and continuous improvement culture within the organization
- Drive the Quality auditing protocol
- Ensure all events which may occur are captured on the EnerMech internal systems
- Ensure progress on close-out is driven on all raised Quality events
- Ensure all quality aspects are implemented within your area of responsibility
- Drive participation within the Quality management forums
- Conduct the monthly Group Quality report against objectives
- Ensure the Quality management system is well implemented and maintained
- Participate and drive quality aspects within the Abu Dhabi Workshop from receipt to dispatch
- Ensure regular training is done with the workforce and the quality system is well understood
- Develop / review and implement the Quality management flow including procedures
Requirements
- Qualified as an internal, preferably lead auditor to one of the Annex SL Standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
- Chartered Quality Professional – Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQP MCQI).
- Knowledge and experience of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001, API Q1, 45001, 14001), relevant adjacent standards.
- Alternatively, Certified Quality Engineer – American Society of Quality (CQE – ASQ)
- Alternatively, Membership of IOSH or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of completing QHSE information for tenders.
- Experience with lifting, hydraulic, piping or valve engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of Offshore Oil & Gas industry regulations and standards. (e.g. ISO 10000 series) and relevant associated auditing standards (e.g. ISO 19011).
- Experience of creating and implementing quality/Safety process standards.
- 5 years+ professional industry experience.
- Experience in Material control; Identification, status, traceability, segregation and review.
- Experience in Non-Conformity and incident management; root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action.
