Role Overview
Brilliant National School seeks a nurturing Facilitator for the Foundation Segment (ages 3-8) to create play-based, joyful learning environments. Focus on holistic development through NEP 2020 foundational literacy-numeracy, art, motor skills, and social-emotional growth using activity-led CBSE methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily circle time, rhymes, story sessions, and theme-based play (e.g., colors, shapes, animals, festivals) with songs, puppets, and sensory bins.
- Support foundational skills: pre-literacy (phonics, rhymes), pre-numeracy (counting, sorting), fine/gross motor (puzzles, blocks, outdoor play), life skills (toilet training, sharing).
- Set up activity corners: sandpit math, block building, art easels, role-play areas; rotate materials weekly for curiosity-driven exploration.
- Observe and document child progress via photos, checklists, anecdotal notes; conduct informal assessments like drawing tasks or group games.
- Manage small groups (10-15 children), handle transitions, ensure safety during free play, meals, and naps.
- Collaborate with parents via daily diaries, photo updates, monthly PTMs; share milestones like first alphabet recognition.
- Organize events: puppet shows, field trips to parks/zoos, sports day, annual function prep.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Degree/NPTT/Montessori Diploma/D.El.Ed. (ECCE certified preferred).
- 0-2 years experience with young children; freshers with nursery internships welcome.
- Loving, patient, energetic; basic English-Hindi; child safety CPR trained ideal.
Work Location & Timings
Location: Budigere Cross, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Working Days: Monday-Saturday (rotational Saturday off)
Timings: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Weekly stay-back till 5 PM for parent meets/planning.
