The Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for a Quality Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing towards the defining of test strategies and test planning
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements.
- Performing test design, the development of test scenarios
- Contributing towards the development of automation scripts (good to know selenium and power automate)
- Configuring and maintaining test environments and continuous integration
- Performing test execution, analyzing test results and communicating test results to stakeholders
- Lead testing meetings, defect triage meetings and drive root cause analysis activities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge in quality engineering practices and processes
- Sound knowledge of Java, OOP concepts and coding standards
- A solid understanding of API test automation using Rest Assured would be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Agile software testing and software engineering concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
- Testing and Agile-related certifications would be an added advantage
- Experience in finance business processes, including Invoice-to-Cash (I2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Experience working with Workday.
