Position Overview:
As a Quality Supervisor, you will oversee and ensure the quality of our products and processes. You will lead a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians, enforce quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your role is pivotal in maintaining product excellence and compliance with industry regulations. The hours for this 3rd Shift role are 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures. Ensure that products and processes comply with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of inspection results.
Problem-Solving: Identify and analyze quality issues, root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and process effectiveness. Implement best practices and industry standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality issues.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices. Promote a quality-focused culture within the organization.
