R&D Executive (Eksekutif Penyelidikan & Pembangunan)

The Employer An established manufacturer located at the Prai Industrial Estate in Penang is looking to hire a matured individual for the role of R&D Executive. . Role/ Responsibilities include: · Assist in the design, development and testing of sauce recipes and formulations for flavour stability and optimal shelf life · Ensure efficient implementation of product improvement programme bearing in mind potential constraints to supply chain · Maintain accurate and current log of formulations, process parameters, raw material specifications, and nutritional profiling of all products. · Ensure all products comply with relevant local and international food safety regulations and where applicable, religious requirements. · Collaborate with the Team to ensure production requirements are met on a timely basis. · Design and develop programmes to stay abreast of consumer trends Requirements Education: Qualification in Food Science/ Food Technology or related field Experience: Preferably with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in research and development within the food manufacturing industry Skills: Knowledge of food chemistry, preservation techniques Able to handle analytical lab equipment Sharp sensory evaluation capabilities Creative passion for culinary trends would be advantageous
