We’re looking for a friendly and organised Casual Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our practice. As our receptionist, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive patient experience while keeping the front desk running smoothly.
You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team in the heart of New Farm, close to Brisbane CBD, with cafés, shops and free street parking right on your doorstep.

Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impression
- Managing appointments, patient enquiries and reception duties
- Answering phone calls and assisting patients with their questions
- Processing payments and assisting with general administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate patient records and keeping the front desk organised
- Working closely with our clinicians and wider team to ensure the day runs smoothly
- Using Oasis practice management software and MS Office to support day-to-day operations
- Providing friendly and professional service throughout every patient interaction
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous reception or customer service experience
- Dental experience is highly desirable, but not essential
- Familiarity with Oasis PMS would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- A friendly, approachable and patient-focused attitude
- A willingness to learn and support the wider practice team
- Flexibility to work some late nights until 7:00pm and Saturday mornings when required
