About the Role
Join our Recovery Unit team and provide safe, high quality care to patients before, during and after surgery. You’ll use your skills and experience to support positive outcomes, build capability and make a real difference to each patient’s recovery.
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients
• Manage patient care across the recovery journey
• Apply clinical knowledge and sound nursing judgement
• Maintain high standards of nursing care
• Support and oversee delegated care activities
• Build capability through ongoing learning and development
• Take accountability for your practice and care standards
About You
You’ll bring sound clinical skills, a patient focused approach and a commitment to safe, quality care. To succeed in this role, you will have:
• Registered or eligible for registration as a General Nurse
• Current or eligible for a current practising certificate
• Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent skills consolidation
• Experience caring for acutely ill patients in a clinical setting
• Strong communication, documentation and delegation skills
