An agricultural engineering company in Derbyshire is currently seeking a refrigeration engineer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.This is a mobile position that involves installing milk cooling equipment and tanks at various farms within the Derbyshire area, with some travel required to our depot in the Midlands. The role offers a typical work week of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours, with additional overtime available.The basic salary for this position is £45,000.00 per annum. The Refrigeration Engineer job will require: Job Duties The refrigeration engineer will be responsible for servicing and installing milk cooling equipment. Installing and commissioning of bulk tanks, silos and cooling equipment. Provide preventative maintenance of milking parlours. Health & Safety aware within the working environment Software and hardware updates. Dairy refrigeration breakdowns Job Requirements F-gas Registered - Essential Previously worked in a dairy environment or similar would be an advantage, training will be provided as well. Willing to travel to cover break downs at short notice. Full UK drivers Licenses Able to multitask and prioritise workload with ‘can do’ attitude and highly organised. Experience or qualification in Refrigeration/HVAC or similar Job Location The Refrigeration engineer will be mobile based, working at various locations in the Derbyshire area as well as traveling to the Midlands.
