THE MANDATE

Teleport is scaling rapidly across Southeast Asia and preparing to operate to the standard of a public company. Our reporting function is not yet where it needs to be — and that is the point of this role. We are hiring a leader to transform how the Group closes its books and reports its numbers: faster, more accurate, more automated, and ready for the scrutiny of public markets.

This is not a maintain-the-machine role. You will inherit a function with talented people, real complexity across multiple countries and legal entities, and a close and reporting cycle that must get materially faster and more reliable. You will lead from the front - in the detail of the close, the consolidation and the audit - while building the standards, systems and team that make excellence repeatable.

A core measure of success: the books are audit-ready all year round, and audits run fast and clean - planned, managed and closed on schedule, with no surprises.

A DAY IN A LIFE

At Teleport, we’re building toward IPO — and that means doing the boring things well. Execution, discipline, and follow-through matter as much as big ideas.

Your day will be varied, often crossing functions, but most of your time will focus on delivering results, owning your scope end-to-end, making fast, data-informed decisions, and following through on fundamentals like reporting, documentation, and processes.

As Head of Finance Reporting, you will lead the Group Reporting function, setting the standards, governance and direction for financial reporting across the organisation, and be accountable for the integrity of the Group's financial information. Alongside your Group responsibilities, you will also oversee selected country finance portfolios, providing financial leadership and partnering with business leaders to support sustainable growth.

How we work matters as much as what we achieve. Doing the basics right, every time, sets us up for success.

Most of your time will be spent driving impact through:

    • Month-End Close & Reporting Delivery: Own and run the Group month-end close, materially accelerating the close cycle while reducing post-close adjustments without compromising quality.
    • Consolidation & Technical Accounting: Lead Group consolidation across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, and the interpretation and application of MFRS/IFRS, hands-on where it matters.
    • External Reporting, Audit & IPO Readiness: Lead statutory reporting, annual financial statements and Board reporting, and strengthen governance, internal controls and disclosures for public market readiness.
    • Reporting Transformation & Automation: Automate manual reporting processes, standardise across entities, and build scalable, ERP-enabled (Oracle) reporting capabilities.
    • Audit Management & Audit Readiness: Own audit readiness as a year-round discipline; personally lead the external auditor relationship to deliver fast, clean audits with no repeat findings.
    • Country Finance Leadership: Provide financial leadership for designated country finance portfolios, ensuring statutory compliance and alignment with Group objectives.
    • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead, coach and develop a high-performing regional reporting team, and act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
    • A proven transformation track record: you have materially improved the speed and accuracy of a month-end close (e.g. cut close days, reduced post-close adjustments, raised first-time-right rates) and can walk us through exactly how you did it.
    • Hands-on ownership of month-end close and multi-entity, multi-country Group consolidation - you have run the close yourself, not only overseen teams who did.
    • Demonstrated audit management: you have delivered fast, clean audits - audits closed on schedule, with minimal adjustments and improving auditor relationships year over year - and can show how you kept the books audit-ready throughout the year.
    • 12–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership within Group Reporting, Financial Control or Regional Finance.
    • Deep technical knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, statutory reporting and financial governance.
    • IPO readiness or listed-company reporting experience is required - you have operated to (or built towards) public-market reporting standards and timelines.
    • Experience delivering finance transformation and reporting automation through ERP-enabled process improvement; Oracle experience is a strong advantage.
    • Proven experience engaging Boards, Audit Committees, external auditors and senior executive stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance governance, operational excellence and business partnership.
    • A people-first leader who builds high-performing regional finance teams - and stays close enough to the work to raise the bar personally.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE

    • Play a key leadership role in shaping Teleport's finance organisation as it scales across Southeast Asia.
    • Build reporting capabilities that support the company's next phase of growth and public company ambitions.
    • Influence strategic decisions by partnering directly with the CFO and executive leadership team.
    • Lead a high-impact regional function with opportunities to modernise finance through technology, automation and best-in-class governance.
    • Join a fast-moving organisation where ownership, innovation and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

At Teleport, we’re all about creating a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels valued. We believe that different perspectives make us stronger and help us do logistics better across Southeast Asia. We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate what makes each of us unique. If you’re passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
