Join Our Dynamic Orthopaedic Team in Geelong – Registered Nurse Opportunity

Full-Time or Part-Time | 41-Bed Inpatient Unit | Orthopaedics & Complex Pain

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to grow your career in a supportive and high-performing clinical environment? Epworth Geelong is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our experienced Orthopaedic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a 41-bed inpatient unit renowned for clinical excellence, teamwork and exceptional patient care.

About the role 

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, Orthopaedics, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to surgical and orthopaedic patients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You'll utilise your clinical expertise, critical thinking skills and compassionate approach to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

You will make an Impact by:

  • Providing exceptional nursing care to surgical and orthopaedic patients
  • Applying evidence-based practice and reflective thinking in clinical decision-making
  • Building strong relationships with patients, families, and your team

Qualifications

About You

You are a compassionate and clinically capable Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring strong surgical nursing experience, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Orthopaedic experience will be highly regarded, along with a genuine passion for teamwork and professional growth.

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a surgical ward (orthopaedics highly regarded)
  • Strong clinical skills and confidence in managing acute situations
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

The annual salary for a full time Registered Nurses – AUD $85,732 - $107,669 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
