Telemetry Float RN
A Telemetry Float RN is needed for a night-shift opening in Holland, Michigan 49423. The position is based at 602 Michigan Avenue and supports a float team serving an 8-bed intensive care unit and a 22-bed telemetry unit. The RN will coordinate patient-centered care for high-acuity diagnoses that include sepsis, respiratory failure, and heart failure. Cerner experience is required, and the assignment has an ASAP start requirement.

Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate patient-centered nursing care to achieve desired outcomes.
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individualized nursing care.
Respond appropriately to changing patient needs and high-acuity situations.
Provide patient and family education and identify ongoing discharge-planning needs.
Delegate appropriately and collaborate with nursing, ancillary, and interdisciplinary team members.
Follow professional nursing standards, patient-safety policies, patient-rights requirements, and applicable Michigan nursing regulations.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
Current Michigan RN license, or completion by the end of orientation.
Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider, or completion within 60 days of hire.
Cerner experience is required.
ACLS certification for ICU/Telemetry practice, or completion within one year of hire.
Recent hospital or nursing-practice experience is preferred.
Two years of prior RN experience in the desired specialty is preferred.
Specialty certification, prior electronic documentation experience, relevant clinical technology experience, and bilingual ability are preferred.
