About the Opportunity

Some people are natural connectors.

They remember names. They enjoy introducing people to one another. They genuinely care about helping others succeed and naturally build trust wherever they go.

If that's you, keep reading.

Our client is a growing business coaching and consulting firm that exists to help business owners build healthy businesses and healthier lives. Their work goes far beyond business strategy—they partner with owners to create clarity, accountability, and lasting impact.

They're looking for someone who shares that heart.

This isn't a traditional sales role focused on quotas and transactions. It's an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, represent an organization with a strong mission, and help business owners discover solutions that genuinely improve their businesses.

If you're energized by serving people, building relationships, and creating opportunities that make a difference, this could be an exceptional fit.

What You'll Do

As the Relationship Development Manager, you'll become the primary relationship builder for the organization.

You'll:

  • Build authentic relationships with business owners, referral partners, and industry leaders.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Follow up consistently with prospective clients and referral partners.
  • Create new opportunities through networking, introductions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage and organize the CRM to ensure every relationship receives consistent follow-through.
  • Coordinate pre-event and post-event communication.
  • Partner closely with leadership to support client growth and retention.
  • Eventually coach a small portfolio of clients using the company's proven coaching framework (training provided).

Who Thrives Here

The people who succeed here tend to have these qualities:

  • You genuinely enjoy meeting and connecting with people.
  • You naturally build trust.
  • Following through is simply part of who you are.
  • You keep your commitments.
  • You're persistent without being pushy.
  • You enjoy encouraging others and helping people succeed.
  • You communicate with warmth, humility, and confidence.
  • You care more about making an impact than simply making a sale.
  • You're energized by building long-term relationships.

Experience That Could Help

We're much more interested in who you are than finding someone with the perfect background.

Successful candidates could come from areas such as:

  • Business Development
  • Relationship Management
  • Coaching
  • Ministry or Pastoral Leadership
  • Recruiting
  • Account Management
  • Financial Services
  • Insurance
  • Commercial Real Estate
  • Chamber of Commerce or Community Leadership
  • Fundraising or Nonprofit Development
  • Customer Success
  • Consulting

If you've built trust, developed relationships, and helped people succeed, we'd love to hear your story.

What Matters Most

We're looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • High follow-through and personal accountability
  • Tenacity and persistence
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Curiosity and coachability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Integrity and professionalism

We'll teach you our coaching process.

We'll teach you our systems.

We'll teach you our methodology.

We're looking for someone who already possesses the character, humility, and relational strengths that can't easily be taught.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000 base salary
  • Performance incentives with first-year earning potential of $100,000+
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) with 4% company match
  • Disability insurance
  • Company-paid travel
  • Professional development
  • Leadership coaching

Why This Role Is Different

This role isn't about convincing people to buy something they don't need.

It's about building genuine relationships with business owners, earning their trust, and introducing them to solutions that can positively impact their businesses, their teams, and their lives.

If your greatest satisfaction comes from serving others, building meaningful relationships, and helping people succeed, we'd love to meet you.
