Our Customer Remediation team is looking for a Remediation Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to help us transform our approaches and processes, learn new skills and be part of the team that puts things right for customers.

What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
Drive the planning and delivery of customer remediation projects, engaging with colleagues to leverage best practice processes for the Remediation team
Use your knowledge of financial services products and project management to design, develop and document solutions which put things right for our customers
Work with our business subject matter experts to translate technical issues into clear, actionable updates for the business and customer centric communications
Engage and represent remediation to colleagues to ensure they are suitably informed with key information that enables effective customer outcomes
What is your management style?
Allowing people to deliver to their full potential through autonomy but with consistent support. Remediation is a fast-paced environment and the entire team support each other as we work very collaboratively.
What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?
The Remediation team makes things right for customers if they have suffered financial loss or other detriment as a result of systemic issues. We are a fast-paced team and we are working to influence change without slowing down delivery, this can definitely be challenging.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
There are a lot of great projects to deliver and there is opportunity to own something end to end. I also think it's a great team doing great work with a real appetite to do the best work we can and serve customers brilliantly every day.
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
8 years or more financial services experience with emphasis on process, compliance, risk or remediation.
Exceptional project management capability and experience planning and delivering projects at pace in complex, regulated environments
Strong mathematical, analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Excellent written communication including governance papers
Excellent verbal communication and facilitation across senior stakeholders
Working knowledge and experience with current legislative frameworks (compliance and remediation) in New Zealand and /or Australia.
