Job Description

The role will work closely with the Director of Revenue Management to analyze hotel performance, identify trends and opportunities, challenge assumptions, improve forecasting and provide management with the information required to make faster and better commercial decisions.

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering or other quantitatively focused disciplines. Previous hotel experience is valuable, but strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity and numerical aptitude are more important than a traditional hotel background.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze large volumes of hotel performance data to identify trends, anomalies, correlations, risks and commercial opportunities.
  • Develop clear analysis of key Revenue Management metrics
  • Conduct variance and bridge analysis versus Budget, Forecast, Last Year and competitive benchmarks, clearly explaining not only what changed, but why it changed and what should be done next.
  • Perform ad-hoc quantitative analysis to answer commercial questions and support management decision-making.
  • Support the preparation of short-, medium- and long-term hotel forecasts using historical trends, booking pace, demand indicators, market intelligence and statistical analysis.
  • Support annual Budget and long-range planning through detailed analytical modelling.
  • Build and continuously improve management dashboards, scorecards and analytical reports that make complex information easy to understand.
  • Transform raw data into clear visual stories through charts, tables, heat maps, trend analyses and executive-level summaries.
  • Automate and streamline recurring reports wherever possible, reducing manual reporting and increasing the time available for analysis.
  • Support the Director of Revenue Management in translating analytical findings into pricing, yielding, segmentation, distribution and business-mix strategies.
  • Evaluate promotional activity and commercial initiatives based on incremental revenue, profitability, displacement and return on investment, rather than volume alone.
  • Analyze competitive-set performance and market-share indicators to understand the hotel’s relative positioning.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy across Revenue Management reporting and source systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, Business Analysis, or a related hotel commercial function.
  • Previous experience in a luxury / 5-star hotel is preferred.
  • Candidates with strong analytical skills and relevant hotel experience in Reservations or Front Office may also be considered.
  • Good understanding of hotel revenue metrics such as Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, TRevPAR, and RevPAR Index.
  • Understanding of forecasting, demand analysis, market segmentation, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Understanding of OTA, GDS, direct booking, and distribution channels is preferred.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proactive, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
