About this role

At ATHEER Connectivity, we are redefining high-speed wireless connectivity through advanced mmWave and microwave solutions. Our mission is to enable reliable, scalable, and fiber-grade wireless connectivity for enterprises and ISPs using cutting-edge wireless technologies.

We are seeking a skilled RF / Network Application Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing wireless networks in real-world field environments. The ideal candidate combines strong RF fundamentals with hands-on deployment experience and practical problem-solving skills.

If you enjoy working across design, field deployment, and troubleshooting, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan wireless network deployments using mmWave and microwave technologies.

• Conduct site surveys, LOS analysis, and feasibility studies.

• Deploy, configure, and commission wireless backhaul and access solutions in the field.

• Perform RF optimization, including link budgets, antenna alignment, and performance tuning.

• Troubleshoot and resolve RF, network, and deployment issues in live environments.

• Provide technical support to customers, field engineers, and operations teams.

• Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, and Operations teams to improve solutions and deployment practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including designs, test results, and close-out reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• Experience in RF design, wireless network planning, or field deployment.

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage client interactions professionally

• Familiarity with mmWave, WiGig (802.11ad/ay), microwave, or wireless backhaul technologies.

• Strong understanding of RF propagation, link budgeting, and interference analysis.

• Hands-on experience with IP networking, switches, routers, VLANs, and basic L2/L3 concepts.

• Experience with RF planning or simulation tools is a plus.

• Willingness to travel and work in field environments (towers, rooftops, customer sites).

The candidate must have hands-on experience across the five key stages of the project management lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closure, with proven ability to manage projects end-to-end and ensure successful delivery.

Benefits

  • Competitive, industry-aligned compensation based on experience.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge mmWave and high-capacity wireless technologies.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership over projects and deployments.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale projects with ISPs, enterprises, and government clients.
  • Direct involvement in real-world deployments shaping next-generation connectivity.
  • Strong collaboration with experienced engineers and innovators in wireless technology.
  • Supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
