About this role
The Central Compliance team is seeking a Risk Manager to join the Last Mile organization. In this role, you will own regulatory compliance for third-party suppliers delivering within the EU's Last Mile programs. You will collaborate with audit and analyst functions across EU and global teams to develop compelling narratives that drive innovative solutions and new business concepts. Working closely with DSP team leaders, you will design and implement programs, projects, and processes across multiple organizations.
Key job responsibilities
Conduct compliance vetting of third-party carriers during onboarding across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands following established procedures
Support risk mitigation efforts by identifying and escalating risk concerns to leadership based on established risk tolerances
Build operational expertise in processes and controls supporting compliance programs within assigned risk area
Apply existing compliance frameworks by following policies, SOPs, internal controls, and monitoring procedures to support operations and risk management
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support proposed solutions and promote customer-centric outcomes
Perform root cause analysis on process or service failures by investigating issues and documenting findings for team review
Identify emerging risks by analyzing data trends and themes, then escalating findings to team leaders with recommended next steps
Deliver clear reporting on root causes and process gaps to relevant stakeholders
Build productive working relationships with partner teams to support effective resolution activities
Develop functional knowledge of the business line by learning from internal and external stakeholders to contribute to solutions that balance business needs with compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
