RN, Cath Lab Recovery - PRN (Katy)

Job Summary

RN 2+ years experience in Cath Lab Pre/Post Op/Recovery, will consider ICU experience.

Hours: PRN 10hr shifts - 6a-4:30p or 7a-5:30p
On Call - 1 Saturday every 4 weeks. 9am/4pm

PRN options available:
• Basic- 3 shifts per 6-week schedule with 1 call shift on a weekend day (9a-4p) no differential
• Local- 6 Shifts per 6-week schedule with 1-2 call shifts on a weekend day (9-4p) (differential 1.50/hour)

Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education:  Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

• RN I < 1 year
• RN II = 1-3 years
• RN III = 3-10 years
• RN IV = 10+ years
• Effective oral and written communication skills
