Sales and Customer Support Specialist
based in Baar
The Opportunity
The position of Sales and Customer Support Specialist is within our Business Unit Shared Services located at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics GmbH Switzerland, Baar. This role will support the sales team by being in close contact with customers and sales Team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- For your customers, you represent the interface to other internal service areas (customer service, technical customer service)
- The role is responsible for a variety of sales support and order processing functions for internal and external customers to facilitate business objectives
- The focus is on quantitative point-of-care rapid tests
- The role will partly contain Customer Care and follow ups for Campaigns
- This role will monitor contract management and support the sales team for customer care
- Maintenance of the CRM System
- Direct support would include dealing with inbound customer contact (i.e. enquiries, complaints, placing orders), order processing, order management/status, outbound contact, updating customers on orders
- Dealing with non-technical complaints or enquiries (i.e. late shipment, back order)
- Indirect support would include preparation of tenders and contracts and reports for the sales organisation
- Use of computerised system for tracking and information gathering related to order management
Requirements
- Ideally you have experience to work with Health Care Professionals or knowing the world of Primary Care
- Fluent in German, English basic language skills required. Other swiss languages welcome
- High service and customer orientation.
- Preferrably you already have experience in the field of diabetology and the processes in a specialized diabetology practice
- Flexibility, adaptability and a positive approach to change
- Willingness to develop permanently
- 2-3 years work experience in Customer Service, previous customer service experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- We are looking for an analytically thinking personality who can organize himself very well, has excellent communication skills and pursues his goals with perseverance.
- proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- SAP or other ERP system experience a significant advantage
