As a Sales Assistant based in York you’ll be responsible for:
Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
Relief driving a 3.5t van doing deliveries to local customers
General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items.
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm.

Previous face to face sales and customer service experience is essential.
To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
