Sales Development Representative I

Summary
This role is responsible for executing defined sales development activities to generate qualified Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) for the Sales organization. The position supports pipeline creation efforts within Commercial segments by following established prospecting processes, qualification standards, and documentation procedures to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely lead handoff in alignment with company guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Conduct outbound and inbound prospecting activities within assigned Commercial accounts using approved messaging and outreach cadences.
- Apply established qualification criteria during structured discovery conversations to confirm customer fit and buying interest.
- Create and route Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) in accordance with defined handoff standards and timelines.
- Accurately record prospect interactions, required data fields, and notes in designated CRM and sales engagement systems.
- Follow documented processes for lead management, data entry, activity tracking, and status updates.
- Meet assigned activity and output expectations as communicated by management.
- Participate in required training, coaching sessions, and team meetings to maintain alignment with current procedures.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate transfer of lead information.
- Maintain compliance with established policies, procedures, and system usage requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs.

The OTE range for this role is $65,000 and will vary based on a wide range of factors including location, experience, qualifications and team.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and involves frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment. It also requires effective communication in person and through digital channels, occasional movement within the workspace, and handling of light materials (typically under 10 pounds).
