The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformers- You’ll work as part of our Insulation & Components team, which engineers’ solutions, and products such
as Bushings, Tap Changers and power and distribution Components. We’re the world’s largest supplier of transformer components.
How you’ll make an impact
Order Execution and Project Management
Handle complete order execution from Purchase Order (PO) receipt to final delivery and project closure.
Review customer purchase orders for commercial and technical compliance against quotations,
contracts, and specifications.
Process order entry and management in SAP, PowerShop, or other business systems.
Monitor project milestones, lead times, production schedules, shipment plans, and customer
commitments.
Ensure timely order execution while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during order execution.
Provide regular project updates regarding order status, delivery schedules, documentation, and
shipment tracking.
Support customers with technical clarifications related to bushings, General Technical Particulars
(GTPs), drawings, test certificates, and related documentation.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Commercial and Financial Management
Support Front-End Sales (FES) teams during quotation preparation, pricing discussions, and order
closing activities.
Coordinate submission of Proforma Invoices (PI), Letter of Credit (LC) establishment, invoicing
activities, and payment follow-up.
Coordinate with finance teams for payment accounting, revenue recognition, and commercial
compliance.
Monitor project cash flow and payment milestones to ensure timely collections.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate closely with factories, production planning, sourcing, logistics, finance, quality, and service
teams to meet customer requirements.
Facilitate resolution of commercial, technical, and operational issues impacting project execution.
Ensure all internal stakeholders are aligned on project priorities and delivery commitments.
Customer Complaint and Quality Management
Create and manage Customer Complaint Resolution Process (CCRP) cases.
Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and effective communication with customers.
Support quality initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and operational excellence.
Audit, Compliance and Documentation
Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
Actively participate in customer audits, factory approvals, Global Quality & Sustainability Audits
(GQSA), ISO audits, and other compliance activities.
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records throughout the order lifecycle.
Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement
Drive Transactional Net Promoter Score (T-NPS) survey participation and customer feedback
collection.
Analyze customer feedback and coordinate improvement actions with relevant stakeholders.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
Share lessons learned and best practices across the organization.
Business Development Support
Maintain sales pipelines, forecasts, CRM records, and order backlog reports.
Prepare monthly reports such as OBL, OCS, order intake, backlog status, and forecast updates.
Identify opportunities for repeat business, modernization, upgrades, and new customer acquisition.
Support growth initiatives by strengthening customer engagement and market presence.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background
Education
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial) or equivalent.
MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Operations, or Business Management will be added
advantage.
Experience
Relevant 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Project Management, Order Execution,
Customer Service, or Marketing & Sales within industrial manufacturing, power systems, transformers,
or electrical equipment industries. (Total experience not exceeding 8 Years)
Experience in handling export and domestic order execution.
Strong exposure to SAP/ERP systems, commercial documentation, logistics coordination, and
customer interactions.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
