Role Overview
The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and enhance scalable Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Agentforce, intelligent automation, and agentic AI use cases. This role requires hands-on development across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, and AI-driven agent experiences that can reason, take action, and operate within enterprise guardrails.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and platform configuration features.
- Build and customize Agentforce solutions, including agents, subagents, actions, instructions, and supporting business workflows.
- Develop agentic AI use cases that combine enterprise data, reasoning, and actions to improve employee productivity and customer experience.
- Integrate Agentforce with Salesforce data, external systems, APIs, MuleSoft connectors, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business, product, and architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable AI-enabled Salesforce solutions.
- Create secure, governed, and reliable AI solutions with proper guardrails, trust, and validation practices.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, deployment support, and production issue resolution across Salesforce applications and AI-enabled workflows.
- Document technical designs, solution flows, and deployment approaches, and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Analyze existing org architecture and ensure new AI-enabled components fit enterprise system design, automation dependencies, and integration boundaries.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Flows, and platform customization.
- Experience building or implementing Agentforce solutions using Agent Builder, actions, prompts, instructions, and related Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Knowledge of agentic AI concepts such as autonomous task execution, reasoning workflows, action orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware tools.
- Understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, governance, and testing best practices.
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically and apply strong quality engineering and validation practices before release.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
