SAP EWM Functional Consultant

As an SAP EWM Consultant, you will design, implement, and optimize warehouse management solutions using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), with a focus on efficient warehouse processes, seamless integration, and business-driven improvements. You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions across inbound, outbound, inventory, and warehouse operations.

This role sits at the intersection of warehouse operations, SAP logistics, and functional consulting.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions based on business and warehouse requirements
• Configure and optimize core EWM processes including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and internal warehouse movements
• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP EWM solutions
• Troubleshoot functional issues, optimize warehouse processes, and drive continuous improvements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, logistics teams, developers, and SAP architects
• Support testing, go-live activities, documentation, and knowledge transfer

Education

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
   

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM, ideally in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong knowledge of SAP EWM warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and internal warehouse movements
• Experience with SAP EWM configuration, including warehouse structures, storage types, process types, and determination rules
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA and related SAP logistics processes
• Knowledge of RF/mobile warehouse processes and warehouse automation is a plus
• Understanding of SAP logistics integration, including MM, SD, and related business processes
   

Functional / Consulting Skills

• Ability to analyze warehouse requirements and translate them into effective SAP EWM solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, logistics teams, developers, and architects
• Experience working in project-based or consulting environments
