SAP MM Consultant

JOB PURPOSE An SAP MM Consultant optimizes supply chain processes by designing and implementing technology solutions for logistics, inventory, and procurement. They collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Design comprehensive supply chain solutions that align with business objectives. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications. 3. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment. 4. Oversee integration of supply chain solutions with existing systems and platforms 5. Manage solution implementation, including testing, deployment, and troubleshooting. 6. Analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency. 7. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of solution architectures and design decisions. 8. Provide regular updates and reports on support tickets, risks, and issues. 9. Identify potential risks associated with supply chain solutions and develop mitigation strategies. 10. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 11. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in supply chain management to propose innovative solutions. 12. Ensure seamless integration of the SAP MM module with other relevant SAP modules like FI/CO (Financial Accounting/Controlling), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PP (Production Planning), PM (Plant Maintenance) and PS (Project System). 13. Provide end-user training on SAP MM functionalities and offering ongoing support to address user queries and issues. 14. Monitor the SAP MM system for performance issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to resolve problems. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree is a must SAP certification in the appropriate domain is preferred Years of Experience Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience Nature of Experience Prior experience in Supply Chain involves extensive expertise in designing and implementing technology solutions to streamline supply chain processes. It includes a deep understanding of system integration, project management, and stakeholder collaboration, with a focus on leveraging industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
