PAY: $20.40/hour + $1,500 Sign & Stay Bonus
WORK SCHEDULE: 4:30 PM - 1:35 AM
BENEFITS: Available first day of hire
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Must accurately weigh product and place correct label on box.
- Lift and place 40 - 70 pound boxes of product onto track.
- Ensure proper ice coverage on all product around employee’s scale.
- May be required to dump product from lugs into a combo.
- Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
- Do all tasks assigned by members of management
- Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
- Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Hatchery or relative poultry industry experience.
Basic math functions and skills.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements
- Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- PPE required but subject to change: Hairnet, beard net, shoe covers, gloves, smock, earplugs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
- Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production
- Must be able to lift and push up to 70 lbs.
