SDET

Job Summary:

We seek a meticulous and proactive SDET to ensure the quality and reliability of our customer-facing products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automation testing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.

• Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues through to resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand

product requirements and design effective testing strategies.

• Perform regression testing, functional testing, performance testing, and other types of testing as required.

• Ensure the quality and performance of the product in various environments and platforms.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of test results and testing processes.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing. Also, bring in the best practices in the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.

• Proficiency in testing tools and software such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Experience with languages such as Python, Java, or similar for automation testing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and performance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
