The Opportunity:
Digit88 is seeking a talented and experienced QA Lead to join our team. The QA Lead will be responsible for leading the QA efforts, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies and possess strong leadership skills. This role requires hands-on experience in test automation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the QA Lead must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage QA efforts across multiple projects to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to ensure alignment and understanding of testing requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and Robot Framework.
- Perform API testing and ensure integration with other systems.
- Work closely with developers to understand features and technical implementation.
- Analyze and identify testing requirements and strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Track and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and issue resolution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and Robot Framework.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with API testing.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the utilities or infrastructure sectors.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.
