We are looking for a Shift Security Guard to join our team at Hartlepool Power Station. This will be working a shift pattern of days, nights and weekends on a rolling rotation after initial training is complete.
Our Security Team is made up of colleagues from a range of backgrounds and experiences, all contributing to the safe and secure operation of Hartlepool’s Power Station.
The Opportunity
The successful candidates will be required to carry out security duties, including personnel and vehicle access control, foot patrols, maintaining appropriate security records and searches with particular emphasis on the use of modern security techniques.

Pay, benefits and culture
The salary for this role is £36,497. You’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications. No previous nuclear experience is required. Comprehensive training will be provided to develop the technical, security and emergency response skills required to be successful in the role.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 3 years.
