Job Title: Security Research Engineer – Cloud and Container Focus

Job Summary:
SecPod is looking for a security research engineer with 1-2 years of experience who is passionate about cyber security and has in depth knowledge about Cloud Services and Cloud Security. Who can research and develop security checks for Cloud and Container Orchestration Misconfigurations.
Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)
• Education: A degree in B-Tech / M-Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Science or similar domain
• Prior experience working with researching and developing security checks for at least one public cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong understanding of Python/Java programming language
• Has a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, vulnerabilities, and common attack techniques and cloud-native applications
• Knowledge of Cloud Security Fundamentals including common cloud misconfigurations and vulnerabilities
• Awareness of Products like Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security, Cloud Detection and Response, EASM, Container and Orchestration Security, Vulnerability Management Tools etc.
• Solid Knowledge about Operating systems and Networking Fundamentals
