We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while partnering with cross-functional teams.
What Is Your Mission?
You will provide exceptional service to our partner brands by:
- Managing month-end and year-end close activities
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyzing financial results and providing variance explanations
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assisting with audit preparation and external audit requirements
- Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Reviewing accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Partnering with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Operations teams
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and internal control enhancements
- Performing ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
Requirements
Who Are We Looking For?
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience managing month-end close processes
- Experience preparing financial statements and performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems such as:
- NetSuite
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Oracle
- SAP
- QuickBooks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Flexible Requirements
- CPA license
- Experience supporting U.S.-based companies
- Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, inventory, or distribution environments
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting
- Experience working in a shared services, outsourced, or remote support environment
