Job Summary
The Accounts Executive in the Spares Department is responsible for managing the financial transactions related to spare parts inventory, vendor payments, customer invoicing, and account reconciliation. The role ensures accurate accounting records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Record and maintain all accounting transactions related to spare parts sales and purchases.
  • Prepare customer invoices and process vendor bills.
  • Verify purchase orders, goods receipts, and supplier invoices.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory values and coordinate with the stores team for stock reconciliation.
  • Process payment vouchers and support timely vendor payments.
  • Maintain GST, TDS, and other statutory records related to spare parts transactions.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare MIS reports on spare parts sales, purchases, stock valuation, and outstanding receivables/payables.
  • Coordinate with auditors by providing required financial records and supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable statutory regulations.
  • Support internal teams in resolving accounting discrepancies related to spare parts transactions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) or Finance.
  • MBA (Finance) or M. Com is an added advantage.
Experience

  • –5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an automobile, manufacturing, or spare parts business.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

  • Accuracy of accounting entries.
  • Timely invoice and payment processing.
  • Vendor and customer reconciliation completion.
