Requirements

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
  • At least 5 years of professional programming experience as an individual contributor
  • Experience working with Semiconductor tester systems
  • Experience in developing under Windows and UNIX
  • Experience in using SQL on a widely used database platform (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Experience in Shell Scripting, Perl, VB6, .NET, C/C++, Java, PHP or other programming languages required by the team
  • Experience in XML, web services and other web technologies
  • Experience in cross-functional team collaboration, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and project deployment
  • Experience in project documentation, presentation, and end-user training
  • Flexible in learning/adapting to old and new technologies
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for his/her tasks, aiming to contribute and provide maximum value to the team and ADI on a day-to-day basis
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to focus on work during normal office hours even as an exempt employee, contributing to the team on optimal levels during office hours
  • Willing to be available for work outside office hours when necessary
  • Ability to juggle or multi-task on support and critical tasks as assigned/needed
  • Open to further learning for professional and personal growth
  • Open to receive feedback from Manager and/or any team member at any point in time for seamless collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the team's Manager, primarily as an individual contributor, taking leadership responsibilities as needed/assigned, demonstrating agility, initiative, accountability, respect, and reliability in working with the team on a day-to-day basis
  • Commit to timelines in the design, coding, and testing of software that will integrate/interface various systems and applications to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and/or to other manufacturing applications, in coordination with stakeholders
  • Communicate with respect and responsiveness with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, demonstrating reliability and accountability for requirements gathering, development, continuous integration, testing, and documentation
  • Provide support (troubleshooting, bug fixing, consulting, periodic maintenance) to systems/applications handled by the team
  • Provide support to application end-users during office hours and during off-hours and weekends in case of emergencies
  • Follow the team-mandated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Be the primary owner of several existing and to-be-developed applications in terms of code, user base, enhancements and support
  • Effectively address technical debts and actively contribute to continuous improvement and streamlining of the team's workflow and processes
  • Responsible for making system enhancements (small, medium, or large-sized) and integration with other manufacturing systems
  • Provide systems training to trainers and end-users
  • Ensure that the company's commitment to environmental management, health and safety is observed and performed
  • Be aware of and apply the company's quality and environmental policies

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
