Senior Analyst - Marketing Analytics

Delhi NCR, IndiaFull-timeMid · 3-5 years

About this role

About the role
The Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics is a data specialist on Global Digital Marketing Analytics team, responsible for building and maintaining trustworthy, well-structured datasets and dashboards behind the team's marketing reporting. The focus is reliable data — correctly sourced, assembled, and validated — and reports the team can trust.

This is a role for someone who works with data fluently and independently: able to take a reporting goal, determine what data it requires, and shape it into a sound dataset and a clear dashboard. It suits someone who takes ownership of quality — checking for completeness, confirming data is merged correctly, validating against source systems, and catching problems before they reach a report.

It is also a role for someone who wants to work smarter, more efficiently. We expect this person to bring AI into how they workday to day — using it to speed up data preparation, validation, and dashboard development — and to continuously look for opportunities to automate repetitive work, so the team’s reporting runs faster and more reliably.

What you’ll do
Data Sourcing & Preparation
  • Determine the data required for reporting purposes, identifying the right sources and the appropriate fields to meet them.
  • Build and prototype datasets structured for clean, efficient consumption in the reporting platform.
  • Combine data across multiple sources, ensuring it is merged and transformed correctly for the intended use.
Quality & Validation
  • Validate data for completeness and accuracy throughout the workflow and against source systems.
  • Own data quality as a standard, building checks into the process and serving as the quality backstop the team relies on.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, recognizing when results do not hold up and tracing them to their source.
Reporting & Dashboards
  • Build, prototype, and maintain dashboards and BI products in the team’s reporting platform.
  • Keep BI products accurate, current, and reliable over time, refining outputs as needs evolve.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for datasets, dashboards, and data processes, keeping it clear and current.
  • Handle ad-hoc data pulls and requests, turning them around with accuracy and appropriate context.
  • Coordinate with the broader BI and insights teams so datasets and dashboards support how reporting and interpretation are used.
AI & Automation
  • Bring AI into day-to-day data preparation, validation, and dashboard work to improve speed and reliability.
  • Identify and automate repetitive data and reporting tasks, reducing manual effort and the risk of error.
  • Experiment with new AI tools and approaches, adopting them where they raise the quality or efficiency of the team’s work.
What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience working hands-on with data analysis and reporting; experience in marketing analytics or digital analytics a plus.
  • Strong data preparation and transformation skills, with the ability to source, combine, and shape data from multiple systems into clean, reliable datasets. Proficiency in SQL for querying, combining, and transforming data; Python a plus.
  • Strong, hands-on skills building dashboards and BI products in Power BI; Data Studio (Looker) experience a plus.
  • Comfort using and experimenting with AI tools, and an interest in applying them to automate and improve data and reporting work.
  • Familiarity with the digital marketing stack a plus (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Customer Data Platform).
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over the accuracy of what the team produces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related field.
