We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Content Writer to be involved with the College’s branding campaigns and activities.

What You Will Do:

1. Strategic Communications

  • Develop and drive the College's integrated communications strategy to strengthen brand positioning, reputation, and stakeholder engagement locally.

  • Collaborate closely with faculty members, researchers, and corporate stakeholders to drive communication initiatives.

  • Lead the development of compelling thought content, executive communications, speeches, media features, strategic publications, and digital storytelling initiatives.

2. Content Creation

  • Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment with the College’s branding and objectives.

  • Create and manage high-quality communication materials, including press releases, presentations, website content, and corporate collaterals.

  • Oversee and maintain the College’s websites, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and up-to-date content.

  • Optimise the user experience (UX) and interface of the College’s websites to ensure they are visually appealing, accessible, and user-friendly.

  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, using data-driven insights to refine content and campaign strategies.

  • Stay informed of emerging social media trends and best practices, continuously improving digital engagement strategies.

3. Branding and Promotion

  • Support the development and execution of publicity campaigns to enhance the College’s visibility and brand awareness.

  • Ensure that event publicity materials and marketing collaterals created by event organisers align with the College’s branding and communication guidelines.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of College events, ensuring they are effectively promoted and successfully delivered.

4. Editing and Proofreading

  • Review, edit, and refine content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand style guidelines.

  • Ensure all written materials maintain high editorial standards, with precise grammar, spelling, punctuation, and tone.

5. Performance Analytics and Reporting

  • Establish communication effectiveness metrics and dashboards to evaluate campaign performance and stakeholder engagement.

  • Analyse audience insights, website analytics, media coverage, and social media trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, Literary Arts, New Media, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and media, preferably within an educational institution.

  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics and SEO.

  • Well-versed in the digital economy, with experience managing digital public relations platforms and online engagement.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives—from brand storytelling to impactful reports—demonstrating a strong sense of structure and storytelling techniques.

  • A meticulous, dedicated, and proactive team player, who thrives on challenges and can multi-task effectively.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimise communication strategies.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, responsible, and proactive, with a positive work attitude and a commitment to excellence.

  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
