Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Website Design & Development will support Bala Vikasa’s digital platforms by developing, maintaining, and updating the organization’s websites and digital interfaces.
Working closely with the Assistant Manager – Website Design & Development and the Strategic Communications team, the role will implement website updates, create landing pages, integrate multimedia content, and ensure that the organization’s digital platforms remain functional, user-friendly, and aligned with Bala Vikasa’s brand identity.
The role will also support the technical implementation of communication campaigns, training program pages, and information resources hosted on the organization’s digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain website pages and content using Bala Vikasa’s content management systems and web development tools.
- Implement website updates including new pages, content uploads, feature enhancements, and design improvements.
- Build landing pages to support communication campaigns, training programs, events, and institutional initiatives.
- Integrate multimedia content including videos, images, and graphics into web pages in collaboration with the multimedia production team.
- Ensure website pages follow Bala Vikasa’s brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and communication frameworks.
- Monitor website functionality and troubleshoot technical issues related to page layouts, links, and content display.
- Support the optimization of website structure, navigation, and user experience.
- Work with the Strategic Communications team to publish and update content such as program information, news updates, and communication materials.
- Assist in implementing design layouts for web pages based on visual assets provided by the graphic design team.
- Ensure website content is properly organized and accessible across devices and platforms.
- Maintain structured backups and documentation of website updates and development activities.
- Support integration of digital tools such as forms, registrations, and campaign features on the website.
Candidate Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in website design, development, or digital platform management
- Experience working with content management systems and web development tools
- Experience developing landing pages or managing website updates for organizations or digital platforms is desirable
Skills and Competencies

- Understanding of responsive design and user experience principles
