The Opportunity:

AIA Australia is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we're looking for a talented Senior Brand and Content Specialist to join our team on a 12-month parental leave contract.

In this dynamic role, you'll bring the AIA brand to life through the creation and delivery of engaging, brand-led content across marketing, corporate communications, and digital channels, with a strong focus on social media. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, you'll leverage your expertise in copywriting, content editing, lightweight design, and multimedia production to create content that informs, inspires, and drives engagement.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, ambassadors and sponsorships, including New Balance, Endota, Melbourne Victory and Collingwood Football Club, you'll deliver compelling content and campaigns that strengthen AIA's brand presence and reputation.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll collaborate across the business to deliver impactful storytelling, maintain brand consistency across every touchpoint, and create meaningful connections with audiences through high-quality, purpose-driven content. The successful candidate would be responsible for:

  • Develop written clear, engaging copy and content across digital, social, campaign and corporate channels
  • Support the creation of:
    • Content production
    • Editorial and thought leadership articles
    • Web content
    • Presentations
    • Proposition and sales materials
    • Tender submissions
    • Campaign messaging
    • Sponsorship and event communications
  • Assist with short-form video editing, image selection and content preparation for digital and social channels
  • Support behind-the-scenes, ambassador, event and campaign content creation
  • Support integrated marketing and brand campaigns across multiple channels
  • Work closely with creative, social, sponsorship and marketing teams to develop cohesive content outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with designers, agencies and production partners
  • Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to support rollout of creative

To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Demonstrate experience across branded content, copywriting, editorial, social media or marketing communications
  • Have strong writing and editing capability across both short-form and long-form content
  • Have previous experience with social publishing platforms and CMS tools
  • Demonstrate work within agency, publishing, media, corporate or consumer brand environments
  • Have exposure to short-form video editing and social content production
  • Understand SEO principles and awareness of how content is evolving for AI-driven search and discovery
  • Have exposure to AI-enabled content, creative or workflow tools advantageous
  • Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
