Senior Campaign Strategist

About this role

We are looking for a Senior Campaign Strategist who will turn deep customer understanding into winning marketing campaigns. You will be the strategic brain behind our go-to-market work, defining who we target, what we say, and through which channels we reach them. You will not be setting up campaigns inside ad platforms. Instead, you will form a tandem partnership with channel specialists in our growth team, where you own the overall strategy and they translate it into precise channel-level execution.

FTMO is a global leader in the trading industry, known for setting high standards in trader education and support. As we expand into new products and markets, we need a strategist who can connect data, customer insight, and business goals into campaigns that consistently move the needle.

What can you expect?

  • Become the go-to expert on our customers: their behaviors, motivations, segments, and decision journeys. You will lead the questions, request the right analyses from our BI and research teams, and turn data into a clear strategic picture.

  • Own the campaign strategy and campaign calendar end-to-end: define the target audience, positioning, funnel approach, and success metrics for product launches, customer segment and seasonal campaigns and coordinate on how the individual communications come together.

  • Craft the campaign messaging. You will write the messaging frameworks, core narratives, and key messages that everything else gets built on. You own the words.

  • Own the campaign landing pages as a key conversion asset. You will define structure, narrative flow, and key sections, partner with design, copy, and dev teams to bring them to life, and keep them sharp based on performance data.

  • Define the high level channel mix (paid, organic, emailing, …) at the strategic level: which channels are used at which moment. The "how" of each channel stays with the specialist who owns it.

  • Form a tight tandem with the Performance Campaign Manager from the Growth team, who owns how your strategy becomes campaigns and creative that perform. You bring the audience, positioning, core narrative and messaging; they own how that becomes campaigns and creatives that perform. Together you (each from your perspective) define what wins.

  • Write the campaign brief that gives every downstream team (creative, content, channel) a single strategic direction: audience, positioning, messaging, funnel role. The Performance Campaign Manager then turns this into the creative brief for execution.

  • Monitor the competition and market trends to identify white spaces, anticipate shifts, and keep our positioning sharp.

  • Track campaign performance, request the right post-campaign analyses, and turn results into learnings that improve the next round.

  • Work closely with Product, Brand, and Marketing teams to ensure every campaign reflects who FTMO is and what we stand for.

  • Prioritize initiatives to maximize business impact. Fewer, sharper campaigns beat scattered effort every time.

What do we expect from you?

  • 3+ years of experience in Campaign Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Brand Strategy, or a similar strategic marketing role.

  • Fluent English (is a must) and Czech/Slovak.

  • Proven experience working with consumer data and insights to shape marketing decisions. You know how to ask the right questions, brief analysts well, and interpret what comes back.

  • Strong writing and messaging skills. You can take complex products and turn them into clear, sharp messaging that resonates with the right audience.

  • Experience owning landing pages or other high-impact conversion assets, from strategy and structure through copy and iteration.

  • Strong analytical thinking: comfortable with data, segmentation, funnel logic, and turning numbers into a story.

  • Solid understanding of how digital marketing channels work (paid, organic, CRM, performance, brand). Enough to know what each one is good for, even though you will not be operating them yourself.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in tandem with performance and channel specialists, building briefs and frameworks that make their work sharper, not heavier.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Creative mindset and a genuine curiosity about customers, markets, and what makes people act.

  • Open to budget ownership and tied in responsibilities.

  • Basic AI usage is expected. The ability to use complex prompting (e.g., in Claude) for deep research, audience analysis, or workflow automation is a massive advantage.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple parallel campaigns.

Not ticking every single box? If you are strong across most of the points above and curious about the rest, send us your CV anyway. We would rather meet a great strategist with one gap than miss out.
