Senior Civil Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities: · Build and execute procurement plans from BOQs, IFC drawings, methods, and the project schedule; maintain a live procurement log. · Source & prequalify suppliers (KSA/international); drive competitive RFQs/RFPs with clear scopes, T&Cs, and deliverables. · Lead technical–commercial evaluations (weighted comparisons, TCO/should-cost) and negotiations (price, Incoterms, payment, LDs, warranties). Coordinate material submittals (MARs), samples, and mock-ups with Engineering/QC to ensure spec and SBC compliance Requirements A leading contacting Company in Jordan - Amman looking for a talented Senior Civil Procurement Engineer to join the team, to lead end-to-end sourcing for civil packages (earthworks, concrete, rebar, formwork, infrastructure, finishing, rentals..etc.). KSA experience is strongly preferred (local vendor network, SBC/SASO familiarity, and knowledge of portals such as Etimad/Aramco/SABIC). The eligible candidate must have the following qualifications: Educational, Experience, and Soft Skills requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university · 7–10+ years of experience in Civil packages procurement. · Excellent command of the English language and strong written and verbal communication skills. · Strong organizational skills · Driven to deliver · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. · Excellent negotiation & vendor management, stakeholder communication (Arabic & English), problem-solving, urgency/ownership, integrity, and analytical mindset. · Strong reporting and coordination skills · KSA experience preferred (market pricing, vendor ecosystem, and public/industrial portals). Technical / Hard Skills and other requirements: · Strong knowledge of civil categories: concrete & admixtures, rebar/structural steel, aggregates/asphalt, waterproofing, formwork/scaffolding systems, GRP/HDPE piping & manholes, precast, site rentals/equipment. · Read BOQs/specs/drawings; basics of FIDIC; familiarity with SBC and SASO/SABER is a plus. · ERP Knowledge and advanced Excel skills. · Cost analysis & TCO, bid tabulation, contract basics; Incoterms 2020; awareness of KSA logistics & customs processes. · Ability to travel
