Senior Commercial Collections Representative

In this role, you will:

• Manage, review and negotiate a high-risk portfolio consisting of complex delinquent loans of high-level collateralized accounts which require special handling and analysis
• Support less experienced Customer Resolution team in interpreting and understanding complex policies as well as managing cross-group projects
• Perform or guide others on complex client inquiries and complaints that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation, as well as an understanding of financial services and customer support
• Work daily with systems: Choice, and GRT (Global Receivables and Trade)
• Lead or contribute to client issue resolutions that require coordination amongst various teams
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to immediate Customer Resolution team on performing comprehensive review of customer complaints

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Commercial Collections support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of collections experience
• 2+ years of accounting experience, accounts receivable or accounts payable
• 6+ months of Choice, power BI, Ireports experience
• Leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to independently provide summary and recommendations on operational data
• Strong telephone communication skills with the ability to influence positive customer outcomes
• Experience working in roles within accounting, accounts receivable/payable
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to embrace and adapt to change
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate manner
• Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Sound organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
