Senior Creative Producer

IN A NUTSHELL…

At Bellroy, we're on a mission to help people move through the world with less friction and more ease. Increasingly, that mission plays out on screens as much as it does in our products; from product imagery worth lingering on, to short-form social content, to TVCs that hold creativity at their core. Now, we're looking for an experienced Producer who can bring all of it to life and drive it through to delivery.

Reporting to our Chief Creative Officer, you'll manage 3-4 senior reports across different disciplines - art directors, videographers and photographers, as well as an external network of freelancers, talent and suppliers. It's a strategic role as much as a hands-on one: you'll shape which projects get made, in what order and why, then act as the connective throughline that takes the work all the way to execution.

Balancing your people skills will be your knack for improving systems, forever looking for ways to streamline how we make content. Whether that's planning further out, implementing new workflows or building better asset management tools - so your team can spend more time refining their craft. You'll also set the standard for what good looks like - raising Bellroy's creative bar and creating signature content that becomes synonymous with the brand.

 

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU…

• Have 7+ years of experience in creative production, content publishing, or (better still) both
• Understand how to pipeline video across fast social, longer-form YouTube and high-production ad spots, while setting the direction for where it all goes next
• Can produce e-commerce and lifestyle photography: from stylised product shots in studio to talent-led shoots on location
• Have genuine management experience and enjoy it! Developing your team matters to you, and you give feedback generously - taking pride in watching your team get better
• Are skilled in project planning and scheduling, building production timelines that work backward from launch dates and making sure every dependency lines up
• Know how to manage time and budgets - estimating hours, building run sheets, tracking costs and negotiating rates
• Can create workflows and systems that make things run smoother, from campaign templates to file handling to vendor directories and beyond
• Are deeply switched on to culture and what's happening across media more broadly, but you don't chase trends for their own sake
• Have a keen interest in how AI can positively impact content production (and know when to also steer clear).

 

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU MIGHT HAVE…

• Developed the strategy for three new content series to pilot on our socials. Guiding how the same idea would show up differently across Instagram vs. TikTok vs. Shorts
• Met with our photographers and Creative Project Lead to map out the upcoming quarter's volume of e-commerce imagery - checking capacity and making contingencies when things feel tight
• Implemented a better asset management system so locating the right files takes less time and distribution becomes more seamless
• Suggested improvements to our photo studio - from camera gear to props to wardrobe. Using a phased approach and budgeting appropriately for the updates
• Met with our marketing team to take them through the production plan for an upcoming campaign and the content menu available in its lead-up
• Produced a series of 15-second ad spots; acting as project glue from inception to execution through to retrospective
• Spoken to our designers, engineers, and other people across the broader business to build your knowledge of what makes Bellroy unique, and what stories have yet to be told!

 

LOCATION & HOURS

This role is based in Collingwood, Melbourne. We work regular business hours, with hybrid flexibility built in for the nature of the role.
